The Offspring
This is a piece I made for my grandmother, who was an avid gardener. Each piece represents each of her children, and the engravings are each child's birth month flower. Each piece is glued to blue mirror and they all sit on a turntable base.
Box Elder Bowl Grain Review
This is an incredible piece of box elder I found. The red streaks are caused by a Beatle as are the small holes throughout the piece. Box Elder is in the maple family, and the same Beatle causes the ambrosia streaking in other maples. I bleach the wood with 2 part solution that doesn't effect the red but turns the wood white. I filled all the holes with silver, which I think adds a nice contrast to the white and red.

Cutting the Cathedral
dichoic diamond column - Small.mov
A piece of raw glass is being turned into a beautiful sculpture. The glass is cut, ground and smoothed, on different grit diamond pads. It is then polished and dichroic glass is laminated to the bottom.
